I recently had a nice chat with Nathan at War Pony Exteriors. His strategy for gaining exposure on social media is to make sure all of his social media posts are less about him and more about the businesses that he is providing services to. There are quite a few people interacting with his posts. This strategy has made him somewhat of a local guide.
It is brilliant and a strategy that cost very little time or money and allows you to grow on social media. Since local companies are usually looking for feedback and exposure for their product or service, they will encourage such posts by reposting them to their story/feed, etc. The best part about all of this is the fact that while companies promote your social media posts, they are also promoting your product or service. In the end, it turns out to be a very useful community that is helping its local economy thrive. #wmvisual
