I don’t know how many of you know this, but yes, I did teach school at a local private school.
I learned so much in my time teaching. One thing that became glaringly clear to me was the fact that I was not great at communicating.
My problem was that I would present talking points with general terms and assume that everyone was going to interpret it the same way! I was in for a wild ride! I learned that leaving nothing to the imagination on the issues that matter yielded the desired results.
When you look at businesses that are crystal clear on their messaging to the point of polarizing people, you find a business with die hard fans that will do whatever is in their power to keep that business afloat! I, along with the majority of people, don’t want to make bold and definitive statements for fear they will return to haunt me in the future. We need to get over that and take the plunge!
